With respect to the benefits of needking becoming an XML Master (multiple answers allowed), the top answers were “I was able to learn about XML I10-003 exam and XML-related technology” (91%), “I developed more confidence about XML and XML-related technology” (41%), “I received a lump-sum bonus from my company” (27%), and “Knowing XML is helpful in my work” (23%).
The “XML Master” is a professional certification officially launched in August 2001. The primary objective of the “XML Master” is the I10-003 XML Master broad-based development of professionals having XML skills. Purchases of vouchers in sets of 20 or more qualify for a discounted USD$112 per voucher. Vouchers expire one year from needking their purchase date.
According to the survey results, 34% of all I10-003 exam respondents indicated they studied “More than 2 weeks, less than 1 month” for the “XML Master Basic V2″ exam, and when asked needking how they studied, respondents indicated “Books” (89%), “Internet” (29%), and “Participation in educational course” (22%), in order of frequency (multiple responses allowed).
As shown in Figure 1, the number of XML-related projects at Hitachi Systems increased dramatically in conjunction with the number of XML Masters I10-003 exam within needking the firm. An article in the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun featured the achievement of 1,000 XML Masters at Hitachi, mentioning that the firm received a special award for achieving 1,000 XML Masters at “XML Master Day 2003.
