Development of Near Field Communication (NFC) technologies. This project is aimed at the creation of security-rich and customizable mobile payment transactions for use across a number of industries including telco, retail and banking. IBM is also donating predictive analytics software, curriculum case studies and guest lecturers.
Under the direction of Professor Larry Gee, SJSU students assess the social networking capabilities of an IBM Business Partner organization as a way of learning about the characteristics of a social business while helping to apply social networking technologies to business operations for more efficient collaboration and faster innovation.
Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing will provide CLB with a complete view of customer data, helping to streamline billing processes and enable more responsive customer service. The city expects that the solution will also improve customer convenience by providing e-billing and online self-service features.
Using a user-friendly approach to business rules creation, payers can quickly – and without the need for custom software code – change the software’s settings to meet new regulatory requirements and support new products or benefits.
